The MSA-2 Hot Shoe Adapter for Sony HDR-SR12 is a universal shoe adapter which is intended to fit into the Sony Active Interface Shoe (AIS) to enable lighting and appliances, mics and many other universal shoe mount accessories to be attached onto the camcorder.
The Sony MSA-2 just simply tightens down firmly and does not link up or touch the electrical contacts and is suitable with the Sony HDR-HC1, HC3, HC5, HC7, SR1, UX1, UX5 and various other Sony camcorders with an AIS shoe.

- The MSA-2 Hot Shoe Adapter for Sony HDR-SR12 is developed to permit the use of standard cold shoe devices on Sony Camcorders which use the Active Interface Shoe (AIS).
