The Hoya 49mm R72 Infrared Filter is able to prevent virtually all light through the visible spectrum, helping to make it feasible for only 720nm infrared light through. By doing this, you will obtain results and can accomplish magnificent effects which are not noticeable by the human eye.
It is suggested to establish your camera and lens prior to connecting the filter, as soon as the Hoya 49mm infrared filter is mounted you can't view anything at all through your viewfinder.
