The Tamron SP AF 180mm f/3.5 DI Macro Lens Nikon is a high-performance telephoto macro lens that can be used in the studio as well as out in the field out on site, delivering spectacular image quality at all distances.
An advanced optical design comprising of special LD glass and internal focusing (IF) provides a convenient Filter Effect Control (FEC) ring for adapting polarizing filters and an AF/MF ring for switching over from manual to auto-focus easily and smoothly.
The potential to move effortless between auto-focus (AF) and manual-focus (MF) is an excellent feature in lots of styles of shooting, especially sports and nature photography. This is simply achieved with Tamron’s AF/MF system. When sliding the focus ring back and forth amongst the two positions it is possible to choose between the AF or MF focusing position.
