Hoya 82mm PRO ND8 ND Filter

A Hoya 82mm PRO ND8 ND Filter is a neutral density filter that provides a filter factor of 8, which means it has a 3 stop filter reduction and passes 12.5% of the available light that penetrates the lens.

This allows the camera operator to use longer exposures in bright sunny conditions. This type of filter will enable slow shutter speeds so you can record movement (motion blur) in objects in motion, you can also use a wider aperture to separate a subject from the background.

A Hoya PRO ND filter uses a metallic ACCU-ND anti-reflection coating which helps to reduce any flare or ghosting.
