Hoya 58mm NDX16 Digital Filter

The Hoya 58mm NDX16 Digital Filter is produced from black rimmed glass and cuts down on reflections coming from the outer edge of the filter. By employing wide apertures of f/1.4 and f/1.8, allows the camera operator to produce shallow depths of field to separate the subject from the backdrop, this technique is ideal for portraits.

This type of neutral density filter is heavily used in travel, nature and landscape photography, a digital Multi-Coated coating will also help to lower ghosting flare.

A 4 stop lowering of light produces shutter speeds of 1/4 of a second, by employing this filter you can generate motion blur to provide movement to moving subjects.
