Hoya 46mm HMC NDX8 Filter

An Hoya 46mm HMC NDX8 Filter is one of the main filters in any serious photographers gear bag. This type of neutral density filter is commonly used in bright sunny conditions, snowy conditions or when using a camcorder. This filter will cut down on the amount of light received by the lens but has no overall effect on colour balance.

It´s additionally feasible to use slower shutter speeds to enable the capturing of movement in any moving subject such as a moving river, cars, clouds etc. Decrease the depth of field using a wider aperture and separate a subject from the background.

An 8x filter will provide an ND.9 exposure adjustment and so provides 3 stops.
