The lens consists of 15 elements in 11 groups. Three elements of High refractive glass and two of Extra-low dispersion glass. There are also two Aspherical lenses included. These lenses are what gives this lens its high image quality and also improves the image brightness at edges all while minimizing distorsions and aberrations. The Irix 15mm wide angles have 9 rounded aperture blades, perfect for narrow depth of field and  beautiful bokeh images.
