Description
Details
The Samyang 24mm f/3.5 Tilt Shift ED AS UMC Nikon for Nikon D810 is a wide angle lens which includes a wider angle of view when compared to a standard lens, and is also an exceptionally bright, prime lens intended to work with digital cameras fitted with full-frame or APS-C sensors. Samyang lenses are fitted with racks appropriate for the Follow Focus system.
This lens will allow you to get a more in to the frame, or even get closer to the subject without the need to reduce off the edges. Wide angle lenses are ideally suited for photography of substantial landscapes, cramped interiors, and subjects which will not fit into the field of view of an ordinary lens, for example a building shot at very close range.
Product features:
- Tilt / Shift functions allow for an accurate perspective and depth of field control.
- Aspherical as well as low-dispersion lens elements reduce aberrations providing sharp resolution and precise colours.
- Get the same effects as with the original Sony E Tilt Shift, at an affordable price.
- The lens allows independent movement of the optical axis and the tilt of the plane of the lens.
- Great for landscape and architectural photography.
When working with a Samyang wide angle lens, you may be located close to the subject at times, this can lead to foreground objects appearing fairly large in the frame, and distant objects appear smaller. Wide angle lenses likewise exaggerate the distance between objects, making subjects at far distances sometimes appear further away than they actually are.

The focusing distance and aperture configuration settings are visibly marked on the side of the lens barrel, providing a simple and fast reference whenever mounted on to a tripod.
Feel free to use this effect to emphasize foreground subjects, separating them from the background and making them fill the frame for further impact
Due to exaggerated distinction in size between near and far objects, wide angle lenses generate an image and subjects can appear more increased in length.
The Samyang 24mm f/3.5 Tilt Shift ED AS UMC Nikon for Nikon D810 gives your photos a dynamic, abstract feel, wide angle lenses have a higher depth of field and cover a wider angle of view. This makes them ideal for scenes where you have subjects at various distances, for example a landscape with family pets in the foreground as well as maybe mountains in the background, and you prefer them all to look sharper.
The Tilt–shift option entails two distinctive types of movements: rotation of the lens plane relative to the image plane, considered as tilt, and movement of the lens parallel to the image plane, known as shift. Tilt is generally applied to manage the orientation of the plane of focus (PoF), so part of the image looks sharp; it helps make use of the Scheimpflug principle.
Shift is usually employed to control the positioning of the subject within the image area without relocating the camera back; this method can often be beneficial in protecting against the appearance of parallel lines whenever taking photos of high buildings.
