This Vanguard Alta + 263AP Tripod and Hoya ND1000 Filter provide long exposure photography and are often used in landscape photography; to get the silky effect on water or movement in the clouds, two things are needed; a tripod and an ND filter. ND filters are responsible for reducing the amount of light entering your lens. This allows you to use other parameters in your camera and remove the threat of over-exposure. This is the case, for example when we want to use very slow shutter speeds in daylight, if we close the diaphragm to maximize the image it will continue overexposing with very long exposure. The solution is to use an ND filter. A Hoya ND1000 filter has 10 f-stops; which means you can use a 10 step slower shutter speed.

Being able to control the camera settings to your liking, even in situations of excess light is the purpose of the ND1000 filter. Whether to use a larger diaphragm aperture and as a result get images with shallow depth of field (ideal for photo shoots and outdoor portraits) or whether to use long exposure times to achieve interesting effects in your images. The Hoya filter will prevent the image from being overexposed reducing light penetration in the lens.

On the other hand the Vanguard Alta + 263AP Tripod is a sturdy tripod; with a load capacity of 5kg. It can reach a maximum height of 1650mm and it can be used for low angle shots; ideal for macro photography. Including a head with a quick release plate and bubble leveling system. The quick release plate allows you to add and remove your equipment; this helps you to work very quickly, so you will always be prepared for every situation.
