The kit features 4 ND square filters. They are square filters so they provide great compatibility since they can be used with different lenses. The only accesory you need is an adapter ring that fits your camera lens. These ND filters reduce a certain amount of light that comes into the camera lens. For example, this P-series ND2 square filter reduces light penetration by 25% i.e. by 1 stop, so it is perfect for getting incredible creative effects such as blurry water and cloud motion.

As far as the P-series ND4 square filter is concerned, it also reduces light penetration, by 25% in this case, i.e. by two stops. Therefore, it is perfect for very bright scenes in which you have to reduce a big quantity of light entry. I can also be very helpful for reducing field depth while getting the right exposure and exposure time.

If that was not enough, the P-series ND2 graduated square filter and the P-series ND4 graduated square filter will help you to earn time with post-production. They give the same functionnalities as the two other filters described above, so they reduce light penetration by 50% and 25%, respectively, but they also provide great effects on landscape pictures: they darken the picture from the top to the bottom, so you can reduce more light in a concrete part of the picture.

In order to use your kit, you first have to screw the 49mm diameter ring adapter included onto your camera lens, then attach the filter holder. Since this filter holder consists of two small slots, you have to slide the ring adapter on them until you hear a clic. Once it is correctly attached, attach the filter, slide the square filter by pressing it lightly onto one of the four slots of the filter holder. And now it is ready for use!
