The Gloxy GX-F990 TTL HSS Flash is a very powerful and versatile flash. It is ideal for photo shoots in your studio or out on location. This flash also includes a diffuser to help to soften the light, this type of effect is often used for portrait photography to provide natural looking light to the subject. The flash is able to rotate up to 360° and tilt up to 90°, this allows you to adapt perfectly to any type of situation. Control over the direction of the light is very important when using the flash. This Gloxy flash supports E-TTL / I-TTL functions, exposure compensation, exposure bracketing and exposure lock.
Check your manual to see if your camera is compatible with HSS. For Nikon it´s known as Auto FP, advanced level cameras will allow HSS (from the D7000 model upwards). Almost all Canon cameras can use HSS, if you have a Canon EOS it is likely that the coupling of the Gloxy GX-F990 Flash will fit on your camera automatically and you can then use speeds higher than 1/250s.
