The Manfrotto 804RC2 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head is the very first 3-way head to employ a counter spring technique to help offer protection to your apparatus. Constructed into the forward/back tilt axis is a mounted spring which enables the head to absorb the distress of the total weight of the camera. The Pan/Tilt head can accept cameras or accessories of up to 4kg in weight.
Constructed from a specialized polymer that is identical to aluminium in durability but is half the weight.
