The Canon EF 50mm f/2.5 Lens Macro is light and compact and most appropriately used as a general purpose macro lens or as an adaptable regular lens.This Canon lens is a 50mm macro lens for general shooting as well as for close-up 1:2 half life size macro photography.

A floating optical process enables razor-sharp delineation at all focusing distances. By using a large f/2.5 maximum aperture, the lens is beneficial in low light and supplies a shallow depth of field and the circular 6-blade diaphragm delivers delightful background blur.
